abstract There has been a demand for apoprotein, which is a new calcium-binding photoprotein. (1) A promoter sequence capable of inducing expression; (2) Fusion of a linker peptide and a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of (i) to (l), represented by the formula (Z) n A first coding sequence containing a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having a function capable of being expressed as a soluble protein when expressed as a protein; (3) having a cleavage site and cleaved A code comprising a polynucleotide encoding a linker peptide that adds a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of Gly-Pro-Glu-Phe to the N-terminus of a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of (i) to (l) A second code comprising a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of: a sequence; and (4) (i)-(l) The expression (i) wherein Gly-Pro-Glu-Phe was added to the N-terminus by expressing the fusion protein as a soluble protein using an expression vector containing the sequence, and cleaving the fusion protein at the cleavage site of the linker peptide.
