A transfer belt comprising a resin, a conductive agent, and an antioxidant, wherein the content of the antioxidant is higher on an inner peripheral surface than on an outer peripheral surface. A transfer unit including the transfer belt and an image forming apparatus. Preferably, in addition to the conductive agent, at least one adsorbent in the form of particles, fibers, and whiskers is included, and the content of the adsorbent is higher on the outer peripheral surface than on the inner peripheral surface.
