A first object of the present invention is to provide an oxidation treatment apparatus and an oxidation treatment method for toluene, which are excellent in reaction efficiency and secondly and easily realized. In the oxidation treatment apparatus 2 and the oxidation treatment method, a microreactor 1 is used and has a micro flow path 3, a photocatalyst 4, and an ultraviolet irradiation means 5. The photocatalyst 4 exhibits oxidizing power when irradiated with ultraviolet rays.
