abstract | Disclosed is a disposable diaper which has a high anti-moisture prevention property such as liquid in the lower crotch region, particularly in the vicinity of the inner thigh and has a fit feeling in the crotch region and is excellent in wearing comfort. SOLUTION: An hourglass-shaped absorbent core 4 having wide portions 4f, 4r on both sides in the longitudinal direction and a constricted portion 4c therebetween is disposed on the stomach side and the back side of the wearer, respectively. The disposable diaper 10 is configured such that the constricted portion is arranged on the crotch, and the diaper 10 has a crotch flap portion (H) extending outward in the width direction of the constricted portion 4c of the absorbent core 4.
