PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for diagnosing a diseased state of periodontal disease in a simple and non-invasive manner without requiring specialized dental medical techniques, experimental techniques and measuring instruments. SOLUTION: A periodontal disease diagnosis test paper is prepared by using an aqueous solution of pH 7 to 11 containing LDH substrate, LDH coenzyme, diaphorase, tetrazolium salt, enzyme stabilizer and pH buffer, or a phenol methylsulfate derivative instead of diaphorase. The prepared aqueous solution having a pH of 7 to 11 is infiltrated into a water-absorbing substrate and then dried. Periodontal disease-affected states are diagnosed by detecting LDH activity of saliva by a color reaction using the obtained test paper. [Selection] Figure 1 |
