Detection of Campylobacter spp. Targeting cell swelling lethal toxin |
abstract |
Provided is a novel method for detecting Campylobacter bacteria using a cell-expanding lethal toxin (cdt) gene. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A plurality of Campylobacter bacteria having high specificity by multiplex PCR using primers capable of amplifying the cdt gene of a plurality of Campylobacter bacteria (Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli, Campylobacter fetus). Can be detected at the same time. When livestock and humans are mixed and infected with multiple species of Campylobacter, Campylobacter can be identified at the bacterial species level by a single operation. [Selection] Figure 3 |
