abstract A method for producing polyurea microcapsules containing a saturated alcohol dispersion medium and microcapsules produced thereby are provided. The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyurea microcapsule containing a saturated alcohol dispersion medium, and a microcapsule produced thereby. According to this method, a suspension in which fine particles are dispersed in a saturated alcohol dispersion medium is provided. A microcapsule having a suspended substance as a core substance is produced. When this is applied to the display field, it is possible to realize various and precise hue expression by making response characteristics more diverse. In addition, the microcapsule of the present invention uses polyurea as a wall material, has excellent heat stability, solvent resistance, and chemical stability, and is more workable.
