abstract | The present invention provides a lithographic printing plate precursor capable of recording an image with a laser and obtaining good stain resistance and developability while maintaining sufficient printing durability, and a lithographic printing plate making method. An intermediate layer containing a polymer having a sulfonamide group and an image recording layer containing a radical polymerization initiator, a sensitizing dye and a polymerizable compound are sequentially laminated on a support. The intermediate layer containing a polymer having a sulfonamide group and the image recording layer containing a radical polymerization initiator, a sensitizing dye, a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer are sequentially laminated on the support.
