abstract |
Disclosed is a novel therapeutic angiogenesis therapy useful for the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular diseases. The present invention provides the following means: a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of the extramembrane region of plexin D1, which is a specific receptor for semaphorin 3E, and an amino acid sequence having homology with the amino acid sequence. A therapeutic agent for ischemic cardiovascular disease comprising a polypeptide, and a polypeptide selected from a polypeptide comprising any of the aforementioned polypeptides, wherein the polynucleotide has an action of inhibiting the angiogenesis inhibitory action of semaphorin 3E An angiogenesis-promoting agent; a therapeutic agent for ischemic cardiovascular disease comprising a polynucleotide encoding any one of the aforementioned polypeptides; and an angiogenesis-promoting agent; and administering the polypeptide or the polynucleotide to a subject A method for treating ischemic cardiovascular disease, a method for promoting angiogenesis, and a blood vessel of semaphorin 3E Method of identifying a compound having an effect of inhibiting the raw inhibitory effect.
