The present invention relates to a metal foam sintered porous body that forms a gas flow path layer of a fuel cell, effectively removing a metal oxide, having excellent current collecting performance, and having a pore size capable of adjusting a pressure loss to a gas flow within a desired range. Provided is a method for producing a gas flow path layer for a fuel cell, which can produce a metal foam sintered porous body. A method for producing a gas flow path layer comprising a metal foam sintered porous body constituting a part of a fuel cell, wherein a paste comprising metal particles, a foam material and a solvent is fired to produce a metal foam sintered. The first step for producing a porous intermediate, and the intermediate is immersed in an acid in a time range of 10 seconds to 130 seconds, etched, and the metal oxide is eluted to produce a metal foam sintered porous body. And a second process. [Selection] Figure 2 |
