abstract |
A water-based ink for ink-jet recording is provided, which can substantially prevent or prevent back-through while ensuring permeability to recording paper, and is excellent in print density and paper surface drying. A water-based ink for inkjet recording comprises: a self-dispersing pigment; water; at least one glycol ether selected from the group consisting of diethylene glycol butyl ether, dipropylene glycol propyl ether and triethylene glycol butyl ether; 01% to 0.5% by weight of methylcellulose.
