Sustained release of microcrystalline peptide suspension |
abstract |
A method for avoiding gel formation of hydrophobic peptides and a milky white microcrystalline aqueous suspension of a hydrophobic peptide and counterion fluid in water. The method of avoiding hydrophobic peptide gel formation according to the present invention is an amount and molar ratio sufficient to produce an opalescent microcrystalline aqueous suspension of the peptide fluid without forming a gel. The hydrophobic peptide and the counter ion are brought into contact with each other. Furthermore, the milky white microcrystalline aqueous suspension of a hydrophobic peptide and counterion fluid in water according to the present invention allows the peptide and counterion to form a suspension without mixing to form a gel upon mixing. In a sufficient amount and molar ratio. [Selection] Figure 2 |
