PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an esterification inhibitor and a method for inhibiting esterification, which effectively suppress the formation of an ester compound in a composition in which a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug having a carboxyl group in the molecule coexists with l-menthol. Is to provide SOLUTION: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug having a carboxyl group in the molecule and 1-menthol suppresses esterification, and provides a urea derivative as an esterification inhibitor. Moreover, the esterification suppression method by a urea derivative which suppresses esterification with the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which has a carboxyl group in a molecule | numerator, and 1-menthol is provided.
