Plastic lens and method for manufacturing plastic lens |
abstract |
A plastic lens capable of reducing the spectral transmittance at 400 nm to 0% is provided. A plastic lens is formed from a composition containing an episulfide resin, a sulfur atom, and an ultraviolet absorber represented by the following general formula (1). This composition contains 5 to 30% by mass of sulfur atoms and 0.5 to 5% by mass of an ultraviolet absorber with respect to the total amount of the composition. (In the formula, R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms.) [Selection figure] None |
