abstract | An object of the present invention is to efficiently produce a porous film. A solution in which a polymer is uniformly dissolved in a solvent is prepared. The solvent includes a good solvent for the polymer and a low-boiling liquid having a boiling point lower than that of the good solvent. The coating die 35 discharges the solution from the discharge port toward the support 27. The discharged solution becomes a coating film 80 on the surface 27 a of the support 27. The blower suction unit 36 applies wet air 400 toward the coating film 80. Due to the contact between the coating film 80 and the wet air 400, water droplets 402 are formed on the surface 80a, and the low boiling point liquid 401 evaporates from the coating film 80 while growing. The blower suction unit 38 applies dry air 404 toward the coating film 80. Due to the contact between the coating film 80 and the dry air 404, the good solvent 406 and the water droplets 402 are evaporated from the coating film 80, and a porous film is obtained from the coating film 80.
