Elastic nonwoven sheet |
abstract |
A stretchable nonwoven sheet suitable for the manufacture of personal hygiene products is provided. A stretchable nonwoven sheet is prepared by substantially uniformly impregnating a necked nonwoven base material with an elastic polymer by treating the necked nonwoven material with an elastic polymer solution. After the stretchable nonwoven sheet is stretched three times to 140% in the neck direction, the ratio of the cycle force in the third unloaded state at 100% elongation / cycle force in the third load state at 100% elongation is: It is at least 0.3: 1 and is useful in the manufacture of diapers and other sanitary products.
