Compositions comprising novel proteins and methods of using such compositions for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis are provided. Nucleic acids and encoded proteins that have been shown to be highly expressed in psoriatic lesion skin and antibodies to the proteins. A method for treating psoriasis in mammals, a method for diagnosing psoriasis, comprising administering the composition, and a composition containing the protein, an agonist, an antagonist, and an antibody against the protein, and the composition.
