abstract | The present invention provides a good printed matter that exhibits good developability in which a photosensitive layer does not remain in a non-image area, has excellent processability with little development residue, and has no stain in the non-image area and no unevenness in the image area. And a method for producing a lithographic printing plate capable of providing a lithographic printing plate having excellent printing durability. A lithographic printing plate precursor having a photosensitive layer containing a spectral sensitizer, a polymerization initiator, a co-initiator, a polymerizable monomer and a binder polymer, and a protective layer in this order on a hydrophilic support. After the image exposure with a laser light source having an emission wavelength in the range of 350 nm to 450 nm, the presence of a developer having a pH of 9.1 to 11 containing carbonate ions, hydrogen carbonate ions, and a surfactant by an automatic processor A method for preparing a lithographic printing plate, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a tribromoacetylamide compound as a coinitiator in the method for preparing a lithographic printing plate in which the protective layer and the non-exposed portion of the photosensitive layer are removed.
