abstract |
Disclosed is a method for measuring and controlling the generation of dinitrogen monoxide in a gas generated from a storage tank for excess sludge in a compost manufacturing facility or a water treatment facility or a storage location for a dehydrated cake. A step of collecting a gas containing at least dinitrogen monoxide, carbon dioxide gas, and a volatile organic acid generated from a dinitrogen monoxide generating facility, and passing the collected gas through an alkaline absorbent. The method includes a step of separating carbon dioxide gas and the volatile organic acid, a step of removing oxygen from the gas, and a step of measuring a dinitrogen monoxide concentration with an electron capture detector (ECD). It is characterized by measuring the concentration of nitrous oxide and the concentration of nitrous oxide generated from the nitrous oxide generating facility, and performing an aerobic operation when the measured concentration exceeds a reference value.
