[PROBLEMS] To improve the reactivity of a tannin-based adhesive, shorten the curing time and thus the hot-press molding time, and improve productivity. Also, compared with conventional tannin-based adhesives, the curing time and thus the hot-press molding time are lower. Are provided, and a tannin-based adhesive capable of saving energy and a wood-based composite material excellent in practical strength using the tannin-based adhesive are provided. A tannin-based adhesive is formed by blending tannin or modified tannin, a cross-linking agent or a curing agent, and a weak acid strong alkali salt. A wood-based composite material includes a plurality of wood-based molding materials. It is assumed that they are bonded to each other with a tannin-based adhesive. [Selection figure] None |
