abstract | Provided are a laminated film having excellent optical properties and durability, a method for producing the laminated film, a polarizing plate using the laminated film as a protective film, and a liquid crystal display device using the polarizing plate. An alignment film layer (B) is provided on one side of a cyclic olefin layer (A) made of a cyclic olefin resin, the alignment film layer (B) is rubbed, and photopolymerizable on the processed surface. By providing a liquid crystal alignment layer (C) formed by photopolymerizing a rod-like liquid crystal having a group, a laminated film having excellent optical properties and excellent durability performance is obtained.
