titleOfInvention | Magnetic toner |
abstract | To provide a magnetic toner that does not cause a decrease in density over a long period of use or a decrease in density due to standing for a long period of time or a cleaning failure even after being stored for a long time in a high temperature and high humidity environment. A magnetic toner having toner particles containing at least a binder resin, wax, and magnetic iron oxide, and inorganic fine particles, wherein the magnetic iron oxide contains Ti element with respect to the entire magnetic iron oxide. The amount of Ti element (S-Ti) that is contained in the range of 0.30 mass% to 5.0 mass% and the Fe element dissolution rate is 10% or less is 40 of the total Ti element amount contained in the magnetic iron oxide. The amount of Ti element (M-Ti) present in the range of not less than 70% and not more than 70% and the Fe element dissolution rate being greater than 10% and not more than 50% is 10% to 40% of the total amount of Ti element contained in the magnetic iron oxide. The amount of Ti element (C-Ti) present in the range of Fe element dissolution rate greater than 50% and less than 100% is 1% or more and 20% or less of the total Ti element amount contained in the magnetic iron oxide. Yes, (S-Ti), (M-Ti) and C-Ti) satisfies a specific relationship, and the magnetic toner has a total E of rotational torque and vertical load in a non-ventilated state measured by a powder flowability analyzer equipped with a rotary blade, and aeration state. A magnetic toner characterized in that a total sum Ea of rotational torque and vertical load satisfies a specific relationship. [Selection figure] None |
