abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide fiber having a low thermal expansion property, a low thermal shrinkage property and extremely excellent dimensional stability while maintaining the heat resistance performance inherent to polyimide. SOLUTION: A fiber made of polyimide benzoxazole obtained by reaction of aromatic tetracarboxylic acids and diamines having a benzoxazole structure, wherein 0.5 to 95 mol% of the diamines have a chain extension bond. A polyimide benzoxazole fiber, which is a diamine having a benzoxazole structure extending coaxially, substantially coaxially, or parallel and in the opposite direction. [Selection figure] None |
