abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid developer having excellent positive charge characteristics and excellent long-term dispersion stability of toner particles, and to provide an image forming apparatus using such a liquid developer. The liquid developer of the present invention contains an insulating liquid and toner particles obtained by surface-modifying toner base particles composed of a material containing a rosin resin with polyalkyleneimine. . The number average molecular weight of the polyalkyleneimine is preferably 5,000 to 100,000. The polyalkyleneimine is preferably polyethyleneimine. [Selection figure] None |
