abstract A novel methionine-derived glucosinolate (Met-GSL) biosynthesis regulator and related genes such as biosynthetic enzymes are found, and a plant in which the amount of Met-GSL or methionine is regulated is provided. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A plant in which the amount of methionine-derived glucosinolate (Met-GSL) and the amount of methionine is controlled using a gene encoding any one of the following proteins (a) to (c) in the plant body: Method to obtain and plant obtained. (a) a protein having a specific amino acid sequence, (b) an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids are deleted, substituted or added in the specific amino acid sequence, and a production intermediate of methionine-derived glucosinolate A protein having a transport activity, and (c) a protein having an amino acid sequence having 80% or more homology with a specific amino acid sequence and having a transport activity of a production intermediate of methionine-derived glucosinolate.
