abstract |
A detection method and apparatus capable of detecting a substance to be detected with extremely high sensitivity. An amount of a fluorescent label binding substance BF corresponding to the amount of a substance to be detected A in a liquid sample is bound on a sensor 14 part, and this fluorescence label binding substance BF is caused by excitation of the fluorescent label F. In the detection method for detecting the amount of a substance to be detected based on the amount of light generated as a result, a plurality of fluorescent dye molecules f are included as a fluorescent label F by a material 16 that transmits fluorescence from the fluorescent dye molecules f. The charged fluorescent substance F is applied to the liquid sample in a state where the fluorescent label binding substance BF is bound to the sensor unit 14 by using the charged fluorescent substance F.
