abstract A detection method and apparatus capable of detecting a substance to be detected with extremely high sensitivity. The charged fluorescent substance F is applied to the liquid sample in a state where the fluorescent label binding substance BF is bound to the sensor unit 14 by using the charged fluorescent substance F.
