abstract |
An exhaust purification device for an internal combustion engine having a thawing function capable of rapidly thawing the urea aqueous solution even when the urea aqueous solution in the storage tank of the urea aqueous solution is frozen. An exhaust emission control device (2) is provided in an exhaust passage (10) of an engine (4) and injects an aqueous urea solution stored in a catalyst device (8) including a SCR catalyst (28) and a storage tank (38) upstream of the SCR catalyst (28). In the exhaust emission control device including the nozzle unit 32, the case 20 for storing the storage tank 38 with play is branched from the main exhaust passage 14 on the downstream side of the catalyst device 8, and the case 20 is inserted in the middle thereof. And a switching valve 16 provided at a branch position of the sub exhaust passage 18 for switching the flow direction of the exhaust gas. [Selection] Figure 1 |
