abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food or cosmetic which is safe and excellent in improving bad breath, body odor and excrement odor. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to find a functional material that has an excellent effect of improving bad breath, body odor and excrement odor by combining with iron chlorophyllin, the present inventors have evaluated the oral odor, body odor and excrement odor by a questionnaire. Screening was performed. As a result, it was found that when the pine bark extract was combined with iron chlorophyllin, an excellent oral odor, body odor and manure odor improving action was observed. That is, a composition containing a pine bark extract and iron chlorophyllin exhibits an excellent effect of improving bad breath, body odor and excrement odor, and can be used in the form of food or cosmetics.
