abstract | Disclosed is a polyester resin-coated metal plate for containers that can meet many characteristics required for food canned materials. A resin layer having a multilayer structure composed of an adhesion layer (A), an intermediate layer (B), and an uppermost layer (C) with a metal plate having the following characteristics as a main component is provided on at least one surface. (A) It contains a block free isocyanate compound, and the number of moles of NCO groups contained in the block free isocyanate compound is 0.5 to 20.0 times the number of moles of OH groups contained in the polyester resin layer. Polyester resin layer. (B) A polyester resin layer having a residual orientation degree in the range of 2% to 30%. (C) It contains a block free isocyanate compound, and the number of moles of NCO groups contained in the block free isocyanate compound is 0.5 to 20.0 times the number of moles of OH groups contained in the polyester resin layer.
