abstract |
The present invention relates to a polyamide reverse osmosis composite membrane and a method for producing the same. The polyamide reverse osmosis composite membrane of the present invention comprises a porous polysulfone support in an aqueous solution containing 2% by weight of metaphenylenediamine (MPD) and 0.1% by weight of di (ethylene glycol) hexyl methyl ether. The excess solution is removed, and the coated support is immersed in an organic solution of 0.1% by weight of trimesoyl chloride (TMC) of an alkane mixture having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, The excess organic solution is removed, and the resulting composite membrane is air-dried, and a polyamide reverse osmosis composite membrane is produced through interfacial polymerization that is washed with an aqueous base solution. The reverse osmosis composite membrane manufactured by the above method was measured by permeating at a pressure of 225 psi with an inflow of 2,000 ppm sodium chloride (NaCl) and having a permeate flow rate of 21.3 gfd and a salt rejection rate of 98.9%. showed that.
