abstract |
An anode used for the electrowinning of cobalt in which cobalt is deposited on a cathode by electrolysis from an aqueous solution containing + 2-valent cobalt ions, and suppresses the deposition of cobalt oxyhydroxide on the anode by electrolysis. An object of the present invention is to provide a cobalt electrowinning anode capable of being collected, and to provide a cobalt electrowinning method capable of suppressing the precipitation of cobalt oxyhydroxide on the anode during electrowinning. The cobalt electrowinning anode of the present invention is a cobalt electrowinning anode in which a catalyst layer containing amorphous iridium oxide or amorphous ruthenium oxide is formed on a conductive substrate. The cobalt electrowinning method of the present invention is a cobalt electrowinning method using an electrowinning anode in which a catalyst layer containing amorphous iridium oxide or amorphous ruthenium oxide is formed on a conductive substrate. .
