abstract [PROBLEMS] To produce hydrocarbons from carbon monoxide and hydrogen using the Fischer-Tropsch reaction, by combining a unique FT catalyst and a hydrocracking catalyst, and apparently having a carbon number of about C5-C20. A new method for synthesizing high quality kerosene oil is provided. In producing hydrocarbons from carbon monoxide and hydrogen using a Fischer-Tropsch reaction, a ruthenium-based catalyst is used as a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction catalyst, and a zeolite catalyst is used as a hydrocracking catalyst. Preferably, by continuously reacting a ruthenium-based FT catalyst and a ruthenium or palladium / zeolite catalyst in the same reaction tube, the production of a wax product having 21 or more carbon atoms is remarkably suppressed, and the carbon number is about 5 to 20 Efficient production of liquid hydrocarbons.
