titleOfInvention Filter assembly for reprocessing equipment
abstract A reprocessing apparatus having a circulation system for circulating a microorganism-inactivating fluid through a chamber forming a part of the circulation system. The reprocessing apparatus includes a water filtration system for filtering water used in the reprocessing apparatus. The water filtration system includes a fluid supply line that can be connected to a pressurized water source. First and second filter elements are disposed in the fluid supply line for filtering the flowing fluid. The second filter element is located downstream of the first filter element and has the ability to filter particles that are smaller than that of the first filter element. The fluid supply line forms a fluid path for water entering the reprocessing device and forms part of the path for the microbial inactivation fluid circulating in the circulation system.
