Nitrates precursor aqueous solution containing additives, critical current density (J c) values to produce a ReBCO layer of 100~800nm exceeding 1 MA / cm 2. In order to suppress crystallization of barium nitrate, additives such as polyethylene glycol (PEG) and sucrose were selected. This results in a higher concentration solution and a thicker monolayer without cracks. Furthermore, by using a water-soluble viscosity modifier (for example, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) or a cellulose derivative), the thickness was increased and the wetting of the ceramic surface was enabled. The presence of hot water vapor during heat treatment will damage the film, but the role of water vapor at low temperatures is still under investigation. |
