Disclosed is a coating comprising an adhesion factor on the surface of an implantable medical article. Coatings are utilized to improve device function by promoting a pre-healing response following implantation. The coating can control the endothelialization of the article surface to reduce the risk of adverse tissue responses that reduce device functionality. |
