An assembly is described for repairing a tendon that has been damaged by reattaching the tendon to the bone, including but not limited to a damaged rotator cuff, between the tendon and the humerus by pushing the tendon against its attachment site. Can be reduced. Also described is a method for repairing a damaged rotator cuff tendon by pushing the tendon against its attachment site and stitching it through the humeral head.
