titleOfInvention | Improved dosing and scheduling of oligomers |
abstract | The present invention relates to a human having a proliferative disease by administering an effective amount of pretreatment to a patient prior to administering an effective amount of a nucleotide-based composition that suppresses overexpression of a target gene that causes the proliferative disease. It relates to a method for treating a patient. The present invention includes pretreatment with one or more of radiotherapy such as X-rays, proton beams, electron beams, hyperthermia, ultrasound therapy, chemotherapy, and biological therapy. The invention also relates to an improved dosing and scheduling sequence for treating patients in need of treatment with a nucleotide-based inhibitor of the gene expression of interest. |
