abstract |
A dosage form having a random coating is provided. A pharmaceutical dosage form is provided comprising a core portion and a shell attached to the core portion. The shell includes at least a first portion and a second portion, each of which is compositionally different from each other and arranged in a random pattern such as a spiral or marble. In one embodiment, the shell comprises a low temperature water dispersible film-forming polymer, and the first portion and the second portion are visually different from each other.
