titleOfInvention Ultrasonic molecular sensor and use thereof
abstract The present invention relates to the use of polymers as contrast agents for ultrasound. The concept is to have a molecular imprint in a polymer specific to a given molecule or analyte. When a molecule binds to a polymer, the molecule induces a conformational change that results in an increase in ultrasound signal, called the target binding state. The method can also be used, for example, for quantitative measurement of an analyte.
