abstract | A method of synthesizing 7-alkynyl-4-aminoquinazoline from 7-haloquinazoline is disclosed. As a specific synthesis of 1, from 7-chloro-6-nitro-3H-quinazolin-4-one to 4- [N-3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl]]-7- [3-methyl-3 -(4-Methyl-1-piperazinyl) -1-butynyl] -6- [N-inethylacrylamide] quinazoline is prepared. Intermediates useful in synthesizing 7-alkynyl-4-aminoquinazolines and methods for making the intermediates are also disclosed. 7-alkynyl-4-aminoquinazoline prepared by the method of the present invention is useful as a pharmaceutically active compound. |
