abstract | Each of the cuffs (10) has a chamber (11, 12). The four limbs (or fingers and toes) are covered with the four cuffs, and each chamber (11) is detected until a pulmonary artery volume fluctuation recording (PAPG) signal related to arterial blood flow of each limb is detected. 11) is simultaneously expanded to a predetermined pressure. Thereafter, the chambers (12) are inflated simultaneously until the PAPG signal in each limb disappears, and continue to inflate 10 mmHg to 20 mmHg above the pressure. Next, the plurality of chambers (12) are contracted, the pressure when the PAPG signal in the first chamber (11) is reproduced for each limb is recorded, and ABPI is calculated from the value of this pressure. This ABPI is displayed or transmitted to a remote location. |
