| abstract |
Disposable devices are provided for culturing and / or packaging and transporting ready-to-use viable cells that are cultured on a membrane, gel, or microporous substrate. The apparatus includes a housing base (1) that defines an interior for culturing cells. The membrane used for culturing the cells is placed in the housing base and fixed with a ring (2). The base is closed by a lid (4), which protects the underlying cells during transport and minimizes the amount of solvent used during culture and transport. Silicone gasket (3) and snaps provided to the device prevent solvent leakage. |
