titleOfInvention Crosslinkable polyamide molding compound and molded article produced therefrom
abstract The present invention relates to a crosslinkable thermoplastic polyamide molding compound. The polyamide is selected from the group consisting of amorphous or microcrystalline polyamides, their copolyamides, and mixtures thereof, and mixtures of these polyamides with semicrystalline polyamides. A feature of the polyamide molding compound of the present invention is that the polyamide molding compound of the present invention comprises a crosslinking agent that results in the production of a crosslinked molded article formed from said polyamide molding compound under the influence of high energy irradiation, It is mentioned that the molded article has a glass transition temperature (Tg) value exceeding 140 ° C. and has a minimum dimensional stability of 90% at a temperature of 180 ° C. or higher. These polyamides have a substantially linear structure and the monomers are free of olefin C = C double bonds. Further disclosed are the corresponding crosslinked polyamide molded articles produced from the polyamide molding compounds of the present invention, as well as the production of crosslinked polyamide molded articles using the polyamide molding compounds of the present invention.
