The present invention relates to a thermoplastic interlayer sheet or film for laminated safety glass having excellent vacuum degassing at high temperatures and having excellent tacking and edge sealing properties. The sheet material has an embossed surface pattern on at least one of the surfaces that provides a relatively continuous groove for degassing in at least two non-parallel directions, the grooves being about 0.1 to about 1 mm apart. And have a depth of less than about 25 μm and a width of about 30 to about 300 μm. |
