abstract |
The present invention advances coating chemistry, curing technology, related equipment, and products made thereby. The present invention includes a substrate bonded to at least partially cationically cured coatings by light having a strength in the range of wavelengths and 0.0003W / cm 2 /nm~0.05W/cm 2 / nm ranging 100nm~1200nm including. Methods and systems for coating a substrate and curing a coated product are included. The present invention includes devices and ink jet printers that utilize this curing process technique. The present invention also includes creating a “moving shadow” for ultraviolet light evenly distributed over the print zone defined by the carriage travel path illuminated by the ultraviolet light.
