abstract |
The thin film transistor is an organic comprising a tetracarboxylic acid diimide naphthalene compound having a substituted or unsubstituted alicyclic ring system (optionally substituted with an electron donating group) bonded to each imide nitrogen atom. Includes a layer of semiconductor material. Such a transistor further comprises spaced first and second contact means or electrodes in contact with the material. In addition, a method of manufacturing an organic thin film transistor by sublimation deposition on a substrate, preferably having a substrate temperature of 100 ° C. or lower is disclosed. |
