titleOfInvention | Polyurethane urea elastomer |
abstract | The present invention relates to a polyurethane urea material and a method for producing the same. The polyurethaneurea is preferably optically clear and comprises (cyclo) aliphatic polyisocyanate or a prepolymer thereof and one or more aromatic diamines and aliphatic and aromatics containing two primary amine groups. Comprising a reaction product with an isocyanate-reactive component comprising one or more compounds containing two secondary amine groups that can be bonded to the group moiety. The isocyanate-reactive component can further comprise one or more hydroxyl functional compounds. The present invention provides a relatively fast “temporary cure time” that allows the solid polyurethaneurea to be released in a relatively short period of time and then post-cured out of the mold. |
