titleOfInvention | Diffusible particles based on xerogel fiber of organogelator, process for its preparation and its use in cosmetic formulations |
abstract | The object of the present invention is a particle basically composed of fibers of an organogelation substance in the form of a xerogel (dry gel), the fibers are basically oriented in the same direction and are centered on the longest fibers. The particles are randomly aligned. The organogelator is preferably 1,3: 2,4-di-O-benzylidene-D-sorbitol. These particles in the form of a spindle show advantageous optical properties. These particles have a total light transmittance of greater than 0.80, with a diffuse transmittance higher than the regular transmittance. The present invention is also directed to processes for preparing these particles by solvent evaporation techniques, solvent diffusion / evaporation techniques or processes involving shearing. Finally, the present invention relates to an active particle composed of these particles having a skin cosmetically active ingredient immobilized thereon, a skin cosmetic composition comprising these particles or these active particles, and the skin The present invention relates to a cosmetic treatment method comprising applying a cosmetic composition to the skin. |
