abstract | The imaging detector is formed from a conversion material and electrodes separated by a trench formed in the conversion material. The trench increases the distance of the conductive path between the electrodes or accommodates the grid of electrodes, thereby reducing current leakage between the electrodes. In some embodiments, a passivation layer is used to improve the adhesion of the electrode to the conversion material or to shield the electrode from the grid electrode structure. |
