An inhaler (70) is provided that includes a closure (5) that can be moved between a closed position and an open position to cover and uncover the mouthpiece (3). The closure (5) works with a rotatable element (6) including a restricting member (7). Movement of the closure (5) from the open position to the closed position causes the rotatable element (6) to rotate about the axis X, so that the restricting member (7) is moved between the container unit (14) and the housing (1). Is placed in a restrictive position that restricts relative movement between and inadvertent operation of the inhaler. Inhalers are useful, for example, in the treatment of asthma. |
